Wondering what is the current procedure for processing family class applications. Applied to sponsor my mom and current status is as follows:
Application received: January 10, 2014.
Sponsorship approved: March 30, 2016.
Presently asked to undergo (1) medical examination (completed two days ago), (2) get police certificate (will be sent early next week) and (3) pay Right of Permanent Residence Fee by August 13.
My mom has Indian passport, presumably her application is being processed in New Delhi.
Can someone please let me know what would be the next steps and an approximate timeline if possible? Sorry, if there is an FAQ that answers these questions, please let me know the link for the same.
