Hi everybody
My question is, I live and study in UK, we are three family memebers ;I got my CIC approval and advised to submit documents in visa office ,I have to show 16967 canadian dollar as a proof of funds, but I do not have this money in my UK bank account (I am student here and it does not worth to remit this big amount here and pay exchange rate charges taxes --etc) but I have 17000 Canadian dollar in my bank account back in my Home country this amount is in my bank for a long period now will this be ok if I got (current bank certification letter) from my home country bank and submit it with my application to London visa office or this amount mush have to have in a country where I am living at the moment.
Kindly give me your advices please .THANKS

It can be any bank back home also, give them bank statement of 6 months along with bank letter. Letter must have phone numbers of bank to verify.

Absolutely yes. Read your visa office instructions one more time carefully anyway.

Visa office is London and one more thing they are not asking for bank statement they ask for bank certification letter do I still need to give them bank statement because I doubted my bank back in my home country will issue it in my absence they need my presence their for it because they need my signatures they can only issue bank confirmation letter mentioning the account number my details and amount in the bank at present time. Please advise. Thanks
