curious question about pregnancy after sending application

i already sent in my app, but i was just wondering, no i dont plan on having kids till years frm now, but just wondering what would happen if i were to get pregnant during the application process? would i have to fill out more paperwork? would my child have to go back to my home country when he/she is born? was just thinking because sometimes unexpected things do happen lol

Where are you now? If you're in Canada, the child would be a Canadian citizen by birth, so he/she would not be sent anywhere!

yes im currently in canada, my home country is the US....oh really i didnt knw that, if he/she would be born in canada, what does the US become? nothing? or also his/her home country?...thats nice to knw if anything were to happen in the future, he/she wouldnt be sent anywhere.

You would apply for him/her to inherit your citizenship, Canada permits dual citizenship, so as long as you may pass it on, they can get it. You would simply apply for whatever paperwork is necessary from the US.
