Any chance for candidate with 446 score?

No for a direct ITA. Recent cut off scores are around 480s. Look for PNP or A job with LMIA (extra 600 points)

Well in near future there is less chance. But later on at the end of the year they might increase the number of intake to 2000 or 2500 and the required CRS may go down. So keep hopes and keep watching the draws. you never know when they start increasing the intake. my guess is after August 2017

I think u mean August 2016 :P

No chance for now based on current trend..

the least CRS to get an ITA as of now is 450 pts.. http://www.canadavisa.com/express-entry-invitations-to-apply-issued.html

any ITA for CRS < 450 looks unlikely, since the number of people waiting at this score are huge..

At least for next 12 - 18 months , there is no signs of CRS coming down below 450..

Hence, try to improve your CRS by gaining high language score or more work experience..also note that, the CRS will decrease at least by 5 pts on your b'day every year..

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp

last option, get a job offer in canada with LMIA to increase CRS by 600 pts and to get confirmed ITA..

on the same boat with 447 points. OINP closed so I even got no hope for PNP and its almost impossible to secure LMIA job from outside CANADA :(

As of Jan-03rd, 2016, around 13K+ candidates were still waiting who have got CRS b/w 400 - 450,

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/reports/ee-year-end-2015.asp

From Jan-2016, the least CRS to get an ITA was 453.. (on Feb-24th)

so this number might have been increased to at least 20K+ by now..

I don't think so, even in 12-18 months, CRS will go below 450..
other then Ontario, all PNP is still running and OINP will start within next 4-5 months. Considering if they start back on Nov 2016, people with PNP from Ontario will start getting there addition 600 score by Jan-Feb 2017, so again CRS will be high as always.
I am on 442, and I have no hope in this score.(trying to improve this by job exp and lang)..

Humm..true...just being optimistic and giving some ray of hopes for all those who have CRS < 450

Sure, agree!
I am not saying there is zero hope, only hope for those <450 (like me) is PNP, lang or work exp. But not from EE directly.

Biweekly, from last 4 rounds, 750+ people are having score more than 480+, where they are coming from ?
I am thinking,
50+ LMIA,
150+ undated IELTS score,
250+ got 1+ job exp
100+ got PNP (OINP paused, but they are still working on Jan applications, and all other prov.)

remaining 150+ are new profile, with score already 480+ :o

------------
And , I am thinking, above process will go same as it is for another 1-2 months, till OINP completed there backlogs application those who applied till mid Feb.

Very soon according to the reports LMIA will be discontinued :'(

If LMIA will discontinued or paused and OINP will complete all backlog application on or before Aug end.
Then, might be score will go down, from Sep to Dec, till next PNP approval will start getting added(hopefully from Feb 2017).
But still score can't go below 450, for 750 ITA.
in those months, if ITA will 1000+ then might be one or two rounds that till touch 445+.

Remember that video where the speaker said they're looking at inviting a lot of people by September? If CIC does become as efficient as they say, then it might be possible for applicants in the 440+range to be invited. Of course, that's the perfect scenario and the dream may not happen at all!

Doesn't seem much changes as of now. But surely after October there are changes considering they will increase the number of ITA send. Be in the pool and wait and also try to increase your points if possible.

Hopefully that should happen !
Its all about the invitations, if they increase that number, then only.
And it will be for just 2 or 3 months, means 4 or 5 draws that can go low, before new PNP approve join the party!
