csq under peq rejected

i had applied for csq under peq which got rejected last week. the reason is that they are not satisfied with the level of french.
i would like to try and apply for federal skilled worker program this year. Becoz of this rejection, will it affect my chances of getting PR at federal level?.i have a job in canada.Also if i apply for renewing my work permit, will it affect the renewal too?
please advice. thanks everyone in advance.

i applied on 2nd it was quite fast . they informed me about the rejection yesterday.what did u submit the language french proof. i submitted the course proof from YMCA.

You can apply for PR / WP extension, CSQ rejection shouldn't affect your further applications as it wasn't fraud based rejection.

@ happy4, It's clear that they took about 17 or 18 days to give him the rejection, Can't you read carefuly : he applied in Feb 2nd---->got rejection on Feb 19th so 19 - 02 = 17 . you got it now ?
