My personal opinion is since you are studying in canada...you should be the principal applicant..start learning french and you will do fine...apply after you complete one year in canada... dont be discouraged by lawyers..you just have to show that you are intersted in learning french,...by the time your interview comes(if req)...you will at beginner level..which is fine...!!

Thank you very much,

How could I get a waiver from the interview. I thought if I applied with my spouse as main applicant I could do that since she got her secondary school from a french school and spent more than 11 years talking french only.

Is there any gurantee that I could waive the interview and save some time. I'm afraid they change the rules as Federal. My application was ready and signed on Saturday 26th June when they change the rules :(

Thanks for your help,

Ok well then why dont you apply with your wife as your principal applicant ...she will get points from your qualifications as well..i m sure you must have done her online evaluation as principal applicant... apply to your country visa office...that is the only option..

One more question Shuhi,

I have a becholr degree in Computer Engineering outside Canada. How could I make it equivlant to a quibeq computer engineering degree to be in the preferred list of training?

Can I do that?

Hey i m a computer engineer too!!..you don't need equivalence wen u r applying..after arriving while finding work yes you might need it..but not now!!
