We came to Montreal through my Spouse's closed working permit which is valid upto May, 2020 but unfortunately my spouse's office is closing and his last working day will be end of October. My current open working permit is attached to his and hence my permit will end at the same time as his.
We already received our CSQ and PR is in processed.
Now, my current employer have filed offer of employer to IRCC and I have the Offer# from my employer and in the process of applying the work permit online and I have few questions:-
1. In the questionnaire to obtain personal reference code there is a question--
When does your temporary resident permit expire? -- If I answer October 26,2018, will it contradict to the statement if I am asked to submit my current working permit?
2. Do you want to submit an application for a family member?- I cannot answer Yes and asking me to submit for my spouse separately through mail.. Can it not be submitted through online?
3.In the form IMM5710E, section-03 - I am not sure which one to choose from below 2 options---I am working with the same employer with my current open work permit.
1. Apply for the work permit for the same employer or 2. Apply for the employer for the first time or with a new employer?
Please advise.
