Hi,
I live in Quebec as a PR and want to sponsor my spouse and kids.
I am not sure of exact procedures to get their CSQs etc.
Is anyone doing the processing for the same and can guide me thru please?

I have visited website of both Quebec immigration and IRCC, but, did not quite got all answers.

On Quebec website I found that I need over 40K yearly oncome tosponsor 3 member of family, but, unfortunately I do not have this much income yet.
Kindly assist. I greatly appreciate any support.
for spouse sponsorship, there is no LICO. But for children Im not sure.

This similar article has some an interesting additional detail. https://www.ledevoir.com/politique/quebec/572334/immigration-certificats-de-selection-du-quebec.

«En revanche, 9682 personnes ont été accueillies au Québec en vertu du programme de regroupement familial, qui est contrôlé par Ottawa. Québec en escomptait entre 8900 et 9400.» ("On the other hand, 9,682 people were received in Quebec under the family reunification program, which is controlled by Ottawa. Quebec expected between 8,900 and 9,400.")

To me it's obvious that 9,682 vs. 9,400 people wouldn't cause huge processing delays for family reunification CSQ applications, although what they did not say is how many people have actually applied. So I think this probably confirms that they were slowing their CSQ processing to keep the numbers down.

No, you shouldnt have received it by noq, they said they are processing the application. If it is the date received, then they should be processing it. Have you called and they said no they havent start processing? Also you have to add delivery time. Anyway, I did and thats what they said. As I said, if they decide to change the process, they should indicate it on the website.

they were clear that they are reducing but they should have been clearer about slowing down the processing delay for family reunification. Wasn't it 11000 the previous year? So 9682 is a significant difference and they reduced it to nearly 20% as they were planning.
