Hey y'all,

We have begun our application process and a bit confused on what to do. We have received amazing advice and found lots of info from this forum so I turn here once again to solve our confusion.

My husband has a C1D visa and works for a cruise line in the States. Last year, when we applied for his visitor visa, we stated that he resided in the states as a worker. We had no issues and we got the visa very quickly and sent it to New York to be processed.

But now we are not sure of what to do. Should we put his country of residency as the states now even though when we go to apply he will be back home in India? And really, he doesn't truly live in the states when he is working on the ships anyways. Right?? We are just worried that if we put his country of residency as USA that he will get called there for an interview or medical and he wouldn't be able to as he doesn't have a B2 visa. You know what I mean??

What should we put for current residency??
