Good morning,

I have been working in Canada since Oct 2022 in the same job and technically it has been around 1 year and 10 months since. However, the portal is awarding me points for 2 years and this is raising my score.

Although, my new score and my old score (even if we ignore this incorrect hike) is greater than the cutoff for my round. I am assuming I should be okay with a letter of explanation but please let me know if anyone has any experience with this.

I Imagine I am still able to go ahead with the application? I have got an ita already.

Thank you.

Don't submit your application before you get exactly 2 years, otherwise it will be rejected

Would only compare to recent cases because IRCC had been fairly lax and lenient when to came to many parts of processing until fairly recently.

Thanks you for your reply.

I am planning to keep the experience as is and write in the explanation letter that I have been working from 1 year and 10 months. So I am eligible under French Category.

Would that be okay ? As It is due to system issue
