Hi everyone, My CRS points is 472.

I'm at initial stage of application — creating EE profile to get into pool. I want to make it for the May 3rd draw so appreciate your urgent help in this matter !

(1) I cannot remember the exact month when I first got into my first job. I was there for 2.5 years, promoted after my first year. I want to claim points for the rest of the 1.5 years which happened after promotion.

Since I can only roughly estimate the month that I was promoted, nor when I left the job, should i still include this job in my EE profile?

At most there should be slight discrepancies of about 2-3 months. This has no bearing on my total CRS points (still over 3 years of job exp).

Because I’m trying to make it for may 3rd draw, i don’t have much time to double check with my ex colleagues.

Without this job, I only have work experience of 1.5 years. my points are subsequently reduced to 442. It is still above cut off, but it’s a huge pity for me, because I do have relevant job experience.

(2) I was thinking I can submit my form with the aforementioned job first, and if there are slight discrepancies of a few months, to submit an LOE if I get my ITA. Is this advisable? Does it count as misrepresentation?

(3) Another thing I can do is to submit form without first job, and have points as 442. Once my ex company confirms, I can re-add the job, and retally my CRS score.

But given the way the points dropped, I fear I will get ITA first and have my points locked at 442, hence wasting almost 2 years of work experience. :(

Are we allowed to add or remove jobs (relevant ones which count towards our CRS points) after getting our ITA?

(4) As mentioned, I worked in my first job for 2.5 years. I was in admin position for 1st year. After 1 year, I was promoted to executive. I am only claiming points for the 1.5 years of executive position.

In this case, do I still have to enter admin position in job history? Again, this is for EE profile, not ITA submission. I’m not in the pool yet.

(5) I’ve checked with a forum member but want to check with you guys again. !in EE profile, I only submit work experience that is relevant towards my CRS points, right?

This means that there are gaps in my employment history, between 2016-2017, and 2012-2013 where I was working irrelevant jobs.

Is this OK?

I will file them under personal history if I get an ITA.

1 - Don't include it.
2 - No. Include only accurate information.
3 - 442 is more than sufficient to get an ITA it is useless to try to get a higher score after getting an ITA.
4 - No if you don't want to claim points for it.
5 - He is correct.

Thanks for the reply, I guess I'm still iffy about it because my job experience has been reduced by a lot without that job >_<
