I live in Canada with work permit and sent the federal application for PR 2 years ago. I was the main applicant. 6 months after that my wife were charged for a shop lifting and the final court decision was a conditional discharge. We received the medical test forms and a request of RCMP finger print for her last month. I am afraid what would be the result of the finger print and how it affects our application. I don't know if we needed to write any letter to explain the situation before the finger print request or not ??? I appreciate if any one can help me.
Thanks

Hi,
If your wife did everything that was asked ,while she was on conditional discharge and she's done with probation and all fines paid then it won't be an issue for PR but you have to let the visa office know about this ...don't hide anything.
