Hey all,
I have a multitude of construction experience which includes more than a years worth of hours operating various cranes (Gantry, tower, crawler and portside harbour cranes) on the port of Waterford here in Ireland. Also tickets for Banksman, Forklift, Loading Shovels and Bobcat) I have just passed my Crane Operators Accreditation in the UK run by Liebherr through a sister company in Newcastle, UK.
I am 22 years old and would love some of the senior members of this site to help me with the process of applying to live and work permanently in Canada and how the process works. From what i am aware of through browsing the forum, the need for qualified crane operators in Canada is in high demand but i wanted to know how this would work for me as not being resident in Canada. I speak fluent English and conversational French. I have no family or connections in Canada so i will be making the move as a single man with no commitments. I am an avid skier and my love for skiing is nearly as profound as my love for cranes and construction so i know i would be happier in Canada than in rural Ireland or Central London, England where i have lived my whole life.
Any help, thoughts, or information would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance for the time to talk to me about entering this wonderful country.
King Regards
Ed
