Got an email today from CPP.....they have asked for more clarification on my work experience. I applied after getting PGWP....I have all the clarification for their questions but I was just wondering, can I hire a lawyer at this point of time to present my clarification. Is it possible to hire a lawyer in the middle of application process........or should I just send all the clarification on my own......seniors please help....

Let us know about the job title you've applied under and other info you put on the letter so we can maybe give you some advise??
But I'm sure at this point they are suspicious about the information you've provided to them, since they don't normally send email for clarification right? Make sure you solve this problem the right way, or else, the chances they are going to reject your case is.. way higher
:-\ :-\
Good luck

You can appoint (or delete) a representative at any time, you would need to submit this form -
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5476E.PDF

As for what you should do, we simply do not have enough information about the nature of the problem....

have you gotten your medical requests yet???

Send the form to CIO in Sydney, NS with a letter explaining your error. You should also say that you will forward the T4 and NOA for 2012 when it's received.
Use 2 envelopes - on the envelope containing the form and letter, write your name, date of birth and client ID. Put it in the mailing envelope and send it.

I worked for a convenience store as part time department store supervisor for few months which is small place. It is a small convenience store and they dont have website for the company. They are asking more documents to fulfill their concern that store is small. What should I do.

if u can at least share ur employment letter, u might get better advice but if only they asked for ur company's website, and u can't provide one, u better explain it on a piece of paper the reason and attach any supporting documents. All the best. Did u worked somewhere else??? were u fulltime or part time????? BTW, when did u applied???? did u get AOR??????

1. There's no such thing as "worked for a convenience store as part time department store supervisor" - you either worked for a department store(Walmart, The Bay, Winners, Target, etc) or a convenience store(Kwick Way and the likes).
You say it's a small store, so it's more plausible you worked for a convenience store. All the department stores above have websites and convenience stores don't usually.

2. Convenience stores often have just 1 or 2 employees working on a given day - I think CIC suspects that you may have "pumped up" your work experience to make it appear skilled.

Your employer should provide more information about the business - how many employees are there? How many did you supervise? What did you do to supervise?

This is your one chance to satisfy their concerns, so it's in your best interest to consult an immigration lawyer before you respond.

It is a convenience store attached to shell gas station and altogether 10 employees work there...its a 24 hour store......I used to work part time and supervise staff............the only problem is they don't have any personal website.......what documents should i ask my employer.....I also did not send my T4 and NOA because by the time I applied I had not filed tax return...so now I have both...I will be sending T4s and NOA to prove that I worked there.......

but do I need my employer to submit something on my behalf.....

Hi rimalal, I think that's the reason they asked for clarification from ya. Coz u didn't submit t4 or noa to prove your period of employment . Could you please copy paste the mail you received from CPP Ottawa. That would be clear for us to explain you.

the guy is weird.

people come here to ask for assistance and they don't even provide a full story of their case so that we advice them better.
Rimalal if you want help explain your case clearly!!

sorry guys....did not provide the actual letter from VO because his only concern was that store is small......and i guessed that it was because of no website..actually was very busy these days collecting documents...got help from lawyer......he said just to take a letter from employer stating annual turn over and providing T4s and NOA which i didn't submit at the time of submission of documents.....I had a talk with my employer he is ready to give an affidavit with store's annual turn over.......So just hoping to get a positive response from VO....Thanks everybody for ur help and time.
