Cover letter

Has anyone used a cover letter stating the names, type of sponsorship and wether you're applying outland or inland?

If so, where in the application did you place it?

Attached with proofs of relationship.
Also I inserted some document number like PR card or ID.

I also placed it after the barcoded page but before the check-list.
