what he means is a SOP. i did not submit a SOP. nevertheless, SOP should include a bit about your background, academic background, explaining reasons as to why you chose the particular college, course, why you chose Canada, what you intend to do after graduation and your future plans concerning your career.

thanks pal. are you applying through a consultant or filing it yourself? my consultant said that SOP is not required because study permit questionnaire fulfills the same purpose.
