Could the visa office return my passport before a decision is made?

I submitted my study permit applicaytion to the Seattle office as I am visiting family in Canada with a multiple entry visitor visa on May 13th. Since then, I heard nothing from the office. I had my medical check done and submitted the receipt along with my application

Since I need to passport to make a trip on July 22. Can I ask the office and will they send my passport back to me before they make decision on my case as I have a multiple entry visa on my passport already?

Is it necessary to replace an entry visa as a visitor with one as a student if they approve my application?

Check your status on www.visatronics.com. Your "Air way bill number" is your
"traking number". Check your receipt and air way bill number issued from visatronics office islamabad. If your documents is delivered and in
processing time. you will see
"delivered to CHC islamabad" or

if received from CHC islamabd, then delivered is change to
"in-tansit" on www.visatronics.com web site. That mean your documents are in way, and you will receive call and documents in 2-3 days......

Pray for me that inshahallah i will grant a study permit.
I am waiting for medical call.

@ Afridi, You have to send case specific email to CHC Islamabad. Tell them, it is way above regular time, I want all my educational and application documents including Passport back if CHC is unable to make decision on my case yet. It has been XXX days that I appeared for Medical Exam, and XXX days that I got a security check call from CHC, and I was promised to get my decision in 2 weeks, etc etc .. and that's it..

i dont think the Seattle office has visatronix.
anyhow, yea I too really want to have my passport and documents back. Them taking away passports for over 3 months is totally wrong.

@jiggzy... well thanks for ur kind reply but i have made case specific enquiries before and they never replied.. i really dont know whether it will help without affecting my case.. i really dont know what to do.. they have left me stranded and i am in the middle of a valley knowing nothing about anything. Only Allah can help me thats it..

It will definitely effect your case. If you are not willing to effect it, than keep on holding till the last 10 days of August. I guess most people WILL get in last 10 days of August.. Or else, send fax, email and request via courier to CHC and withdraw the case. Deffer another term, and apply fresh (if u wish to)

huh... apply fresh ... nooo way man... i cant handle it anymore.. well wat do u think if i wait till the 25th of july and enquire them about my case again and if they still give me the same response God forbade i will give them a case specific reply and will fax them bla bla.. what do u think about this idea??? i wish i get it before that...

Haiderrajja told me yesterday..... that afridi went to CHC islamabad and check the processing of submitted dcuments.....He told me Wasishah case is also in that background was checked and review by the CHC VO ISB....

Is it true news?

If it is then share me more information abt my case. ok Dear brother i m waiting for ur kind reply.
