Could a 1-year post-grad diploma be a possible reason for rejection?

I’d like to know about your opinions and/or insights regarding a 1-year post-grad diploma for study permit application. Do you think it could be a possible reason for rejection? I got accepted into Douglas College for May 2022 intake and applied for a study permit in December. Haven’t heard any news about it and started to get a bit anxious while waiting. It depends on your overall profile. The studies you plan to take in Canada need to make sense based on your previous education and work experience.
