Hi there
I had a visitor visa.
had a trip to canada, returned back to my country (Iran ) then applied for study permit.

I got a correspondence letter saying that :
Your application to study in Canada has been approved. A permit authorizing your studies will be issued to you on your arrival to Canada following an examination by an officer of the Canada

it also says :
If you are from a country/territory which requires a temporary resident visa (TRV) (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/visas.asp ), you have also been issued a visa. This visa has been affixed in your passport, and is valid for multiple visits to Canada until it expires.

and i got "no passport request" since 3 days ago that i got the correspondence letter.
should I enter canada with my 5 year multiple visitor visa ?
or should i wait for a passport request message in order to get a student visa too???

Can you help me please? i've got a flight ticket for next week and people are saying different things.

There is no student visa. There is a study permit which you will get at the airport and a TRV which you already have. So you can go no problem
