Correcting the spelling of spouse name on Indian passport

I want to change the spelling of my wife's name in my Indian passport; so please suggest me the process to do. Also, I have applied for Canada citizenship with the wrong spelling bio-page of my passport. How will it affect my citizenship process?

You have to renew your passport. Go to BLS site it has all the details. It should not impact your Citizenship application as its on an individual basics. If you really worried, once you have the passport with the right name upload the same using webform.

If you getting your citizenship soon, not sure renewing passport would make any sense.
