Hi Guys,

I have a question and I hope someone can advise what is the best thing to do. I landed to Canada last September 2015 and part of the process, I declared money about 40,000 dollars upon entry. I filled out the e667 form and someone from the custom or cbsa I think stamped it and took the copy. Now, after 6 months I bought a condo here in Toronto and my lender is asking me for a copy of the declaration of my funds when I landed to Canada. I called CBSA and they advised me to contact fintrac.... In your case, do they take your e667 forms as well? Because some of my friends, they are just being asked what is the amount and they never take it. I am worried that CBSA is not consistent in forwarding the document to Fintrac for recording. If that is the case I can't provide a proof.

Please let me know of your thoughts.
