I believe its on Legal size paper. 8.5 x 11.
They suggest you don't fold it if at all possible.

You can fold it neatly in half or in 3 like a letter. Just treat it like the important document it is.

Correct, it is plain 8.5 x 14 white paper. In our case, "they" folded it into 3 as suggested by ZP and then once more before putting it inside passport.

I disagree with those who have said it is letter size (8.5 x 11 inches). Ours, which was issued in December, is on legal size paper (8.5 x 14 inches).

I think you are correct with your size. Going from memory it looked legal size or just a bit bigger. Anyway if you don't fold it the CBSA agent will.

Just be careful opening the envelope. My husband got so excited when they returned his passport and COPR that he ripped the envelope opened and ripped right through the COPR doc. He had to tape it back together ;D

Hi, did they accept the taped COPR at the port of entry? I ripped mine at the top accidentally while opening the envelope. Just a bit of the top barcode is torn, Rest of the document is intact.

I would say it depends what country issued it. My visa is processed by the Australian office, Australian standard letter size (A4) is slightly narrower and longer than North American standard letter size.

Was it accepted? Asking because the same happened with me.
