Hello.
I have to make an urgent visit to US. I plan to do it by my car. I do NOT have valid PR card. Is my CoPR document that I have received 6 years ago good enough to re-enter Canada?

Without a valid PR card, as far as I know you might need to ask for a "travel document" from embassy before going back to Canada.I do not know the exact rule for USA but this is the rule for most countries.

If you are driving then COPR is enough to return to Canada. You do not need a PRTD. COPR does not expire.

if you are a us citizen (or visa exempt), what CanV said is correct, you do not need a pr travel document. that is only for people who require visas to travel (ie: fly) to canada. when you drive, all that's necessary is your passport and copr. there is no need for a pr card when traveling by land. the pr card and pr travel document are primarily for airlines that require such items in order to board a plane. a pr card is not a requirement to enter canada, when a person has their copr.

Depend on what visa u are in US. US green card can come with out CoPR. Even students/ worker can visit i heard.
