hello i received my CoPR today.
I picked it up personally in Rome at the visa office and the lady told me it would contain the actual copr and instructions.
I was too merry at that point to check the envelope so it was just when i got home that i found out that the envelope contains:
One copr letter with a photo attached to it
One copr letter without photo

Is that correct?
Is the missing instructions a problem?
Can i still land?

How do i land???

Sorry And thanks

Thanks to both of you.
I didn’t receive anything on MyCIC so far but I ll keep an eye on it!
My letter said the below. It's generic (and loooong!) but hope it helps, but Hurlabrick's landing guide will tell you all you need to know and probably in clearer language:

Your application for a permanent resident visa has been approved.

If you are receiving this letter electronically via your MyCIC account, please note that the documents referenced below are being sent to you in the mail with a copy of this letter. If you are receiving this letter by mail, all documents mentioned below, if applicable to you, accompany this letter.
You have now been issued your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) form (IMM5292 or IMM5688) for you and all accompanying dependants. Do not make any corrections to the COPR. Do not sign the COPR until instructed to do so by an Immigration Officer at landing.

Please note that as of December 1, 2011, citizens of visa-exempt countries will not have a counterfoil affixed to their passport. These applicants will only be issued a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) form and an electronic foil (IMM5785). For a list of visa-exempt countries, please see: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/visas.asp#exemptions . This may mean that some of your family members required a counterfoil in their passport while others were issued COPRs and electronic foils only.

Note that if your children do not have passports, but are listed in your passport or your spouse’s passport, their counterfoil, if required, is affixed in that passport.

Your documents are valid only if all family members (spouse, common-law partner, dependent
son or daughter) have been declared and examined. You must therefore inform us of any change in
your marital status or in your family composition (marriage, common-law relationship, separation,
divorce, birth of a child, adoption, death, etc.) BEFORE you leave for Canada. We will let you know
what further procedures are required.

Presenting a Confirmation of Permanent Residence form (COPR) and a passport with a counterfoil, if required, which do not correspond to the reality of your situation could result in the refusal of your admission to Canada. Any current family member not examined now can never be sponsored by you in the future

We have also enclosed a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CPR) form for each person in your family who will be traveling to Canada. Each person must carry this form with his or her passport to Canada. Your children should each have their own CPR.

If any accompanying person was not provided a COPR or with a counterfoil, if required, please contact this office immediately.
DO NOT SIGN YOUR CPR UNTIL TOLD TO DO SO BY THE IMMIGRATION OFFICER AT THE PORT OF ENTRY IN CANADA.
(A port of entry is a border crossing or an international airport.)

At the time of your arrival in Canada, you will be interviewed, and granted entry into Canada based on the information in the documents that we are providing to you now. Each person will be asked to sign his or her document. A child 14 years of age or over must sign his or her own form. The parent must sign for a child under the age of 14 (the parent must sign his or her own name and not the child's name).

YOU MUST ARRIVE IN CANADA ON OR BEFORE:
[1 year from medical (would be passport expiry if earlier than medical)]

We wish you a pleasant journey and every success in your future in Canada.
Sincerely,
Immigration Section
Canadian High Commission, London

**IMPORTANT** VISA INFORMATION
Please check the visa(s) and CPR(s) to make sure that there are no errors. Your visa was issued on the basis of the information you have provided. If there are errors you must notify this office immediately. If any name or date of birth differs from the name or date of birth in a passport, or if the passport number or validity is incorrect, please notify us immediately so that we can tell you which passport(s) and CPR(s) must be returned for correction.

The visa expiry date is printed on the top line, right hand side, of the visa which is in your passport, in the format of day, month, year (dd-mm-yyyy). You must arrive in Canada on or before the visa expiry date. The visa expiry date is listed on the first page of this letter.

YOUR DOCUMENT HAS BEEN GIVEN THE MAXIMUM VALIDITY - IT CANNOT BE EXTENDED If you do not use your COPR or, if applicable, your counterfoil before it expires, you will need to reapply for immigration to Canada. You will have to go through all processing steps again. Applications for permanent residence in Canada are assessed according to the laws and regulations in force at the time of their assessment. The fact that a COPR was previously issued to you does not mean that a subsequent application will also be approved.

Do not sign, write on, or attempt to change your documents in any way. Do not laminate these documents.

If you have received COPR version IMM5688, there are two copies for each person in your family, including children, who will be travelling to Canada (Client copy and CIC copy). A picture of each person is affixed on the IRCC copy only. Each person must carry the two copies of the IMM5688 when travelling to Canada along with his/her passport containing the counterfoil (unless you are a visa-exempt citizen) as the COPR is not a valid document for travel (as indicated on the form itself).

Dependents may accompany or follow the principal applicant, but cannot arrive in Canada before the principal applicant. If dependents do not join the principal applicant before the expiry date on their documents, they must reapply for immigration to Canada. They may not join their family until they have been accepted again for immigration, either independently or through a sponsorship agreement between those dependents and the sponsor in Canada.

We strongly advise that you carry with you all of your personal and professional papers such as birth and marriage certificates, school diplomas and letters of reference when you go to Canada.

If you plan to settle in the province of Quebec, you must be in possession of a Certificat de Sélection du Quebec (CSQ) that was valid on the date the COPR was issued.

If, for any reason, you are not able to travel within the validity of the documents, please return the documents to this office for instructions. You must also return the documents if you have decided not to immigrate to Canada.

Additional information is attached. You should read this information in order to prepare for your move to Canada.

* Please note that if you are already in Canada and have valid temporary resident status, you now have the option of obtaining your permanent resident status in Canada as opposed to leaving Canada and re-entering at a port of entry. Please contact IRCC’s Call Centre at 1-888-242-2100 as soon as possible to arrange an appointment with the nearest Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada office to your place of residence.(You cannot call this number if you are outside Canada.)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The use of a visa by a person other than the rightful holder is a crime punishable under Canadian law. YOU are liable for the improper use of your visa.

MEDICAL INFORMATION
In some provinces, children cannot attend school without being properly immunized. Parents of school-aged children should obtain copies of records of immunization from their family doctor, school, or local health service before departing for Canada. Proof of immunization for diphtheria, tetanus, poliomyelitis, measles, rubella, and mumps may be required.

New immigrants may not be eligible for public health insurance for up to three months after arrival. You must ensure that you and your family members have adequate health care insurance to cover possible health problems. Failure to do so could cause serious financial difficulties if you or one of your family members becomes ill. For more information, please consult the Canada International Web site at: www.canadainternational.gc.ca

MEDICAL SURVEILLANCE
If your CPR or that of a dependant shows that medical surveillance is required as a condition of landing (if there is code 2.02 or 2.04 in section 28 of the CPR), this office will provide you with a separate surveillance form to accompany your visa. If this has been omitted, please contact us

EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION
To prepare for your move to Canada, one of your first steps should be to begin researching potential employment in Canada. Most occupations in Canada are not regulated. For those occupations, the employer is responsible for assessing and recognizing your qualifications.
However, some occupations are regulated and do not permit persons to practice without a license. To obtain a license to practice a regulated occupation, you must go through an assessment and an acceptance of your education and professional qualifications by a regulatory body. This assessment will compare your training, education and experience to Canadian requirements. This assessment will also help determine whether further training and evaluation may be needed before you acquire a license to practice your occupation in Canada.

In partnership with Service Canada, the Foreign Credentials Referral Office (FCRO) provides information and referrals. You can find more information on the FCRO Web site at: www.credentials.gc.ca. Clients in Canada can call 1-888-854-1805 or the Service Canada general enquiries number at 1-800-O-Canada (1-800-622-6232) for more information. Clients in Canada can also obtain in-person service at Service Canada Centers.

The Going to Canada Internet site (www.directioncanada.gc.ca) has important information about living and working in Canada as well as the “Working in Canada Tool” which will tell you what the current prospects are for your occupation across Canada. It offers information on essential skills, job descriptions, work conditions and opportunities. It will also tell you whether your occupation is a regulated profession in Canada.
Be aware that there is no guarantee that you will find work in your preferred occupation.

AFTER YOU ARRIVE IN CANADA
In order to work in Canada, you must obtain a Social Insurance Number (SIN). All working age family members should apply for a SIN number. The application is available at any Canada Employment Centre or at the Port of Entry where you present your visa(s).

Service Canada Centres are located in all parts of the country. Experienced counsellors are available to help you find employment. To find the nearest office location, consult this Web page: http://www1. http://www.servicecanada.gc.ca/cgi-bin/hr-search.cgi?app=hme&ln=eng
For more information on employment, consult the Service Canada Web site at: http://www.servicecanada.gc.ca/en/subjects/employment/index.shtml

Persons intending to reside in Quebec may also wish to contact the Quebec department responsible for immigration (Ministère de l’immigration et des communautés culturelles) that provides many services including employment counselling. Their Web site is located at: http://www.micc.gouv.qc.ca

FUNDS
Economic category immigrants (i.e. skilled workers selected on the basis of economic factors) must satisfy the immigration officer at the Port of Entry that they have enough money to support themselves and their family members, whether the family members accompany the principal applicant or follow later. Economic category immigrants must have enough money to look after all
their immediate needs while they seek housing and employment. No special financial assistance is available from the Canadian Government.

WHERE TO OBTAIN YOUR PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS
To become a permanent resident you must present the Canadian Immigrant Visa upon arrival from abroad at a Canadian border crossing or international airport within the validity date shown on the visa.
Please allow a few hours before any connecting flight or other travel to your final destination, as the immigration procedures are done at your initial place of arrival in Canada. You will find information for newcomers to Canada on the following Web site: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/publications/guide/index.asp
Please note that if you are already in Canada and have valid temporary resident status, you now have the option of obtaining your permanent resident status in Canada as opposed to leaving Canada and re-entering at a port of entry. Please contact IRCC’s Call Centre at 1-888-242-2100 as soon as possible to arrange an appointment with the nearest Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada office to your place of residence. (You cannot call this number if you are outside Canada.)
Reminder: if you are going to Quebec, make sure you have a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) which was valid at the time the permanent resident visa was issued.

HOW TO KEEP YOUR PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS
Until you obtain Canadian Citizenship, your permanent residence status may be revoked if you are not present in Canada for at least 730 days within 5 years, except under certain circumstances. For more information about the exceptions, please consult the following Web site: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/newcomers/about-pr.asp or, from within Canada, contact the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada Call Centre in Canada: 1 888 242-2100

CUSTOMS RULES AND IMPORTATION OF YOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS
You may bring your personal belongings duty-free when you immigrate. On your arrival, Canada Customs will require a list of all of the items that you are bringing into Canada.
Two lists are required, one of the items that you will bring with you, and another list of any items to follow. In order to import your belongings into Canada, it is essential to ensure that any equipment, machinery or tool is completely free of soil.
Please visit the Web sites of the Canada Border Services Agency at http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/ and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency at http://www.inspection.gc.ca for information on the procedures and requirements for importing your personal effects into Canada. It is important to comply with these requirements to avoid any difficulty in importing your belongings.

INFORMATION AND SERVICES for non-Canadians and newcomers can be found at the “Going to Canada” website: http://www.goingtocanada.gc.ca/index.aspx

BIRTH OF A CHILD: If you are expecting a child and are able to land in Canada before the child is born, you should do so. Failure to land before additional dependants are born will result in the need for a new application and new fees for all family members.

PROOF OF SUFFICIENT FUNDS FOR SETTLEMENT: Upon your arrival at the Port-of-Entry, you will be asked to provide proof that you have sufficient funds available for settlement in Canada.

Please refer to the following website for current requirements http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp. You should therefore bring supporting documentation with you - current bank statement, updated bank book, securities or negotiable instruments in bearer form, etc. Failure to provide this information could affect your admissibility to Canada and otherwise delay or prevent your landing. Members of the Family Class who have been sponsored by a relative in Canada are not required to provide proof of funds for settlement.

ORDER OF LANDING FOR FAMILIES/DELAYED ARRIVAL: There are two options for family landings. Whichever option you choose, it is important to remember that the principal applicant must always be the first landed.

Option A: The entire family (including the principal applicant) lands together. If you choose
this option, all family members must land at the same time and at the same port of entry.
Option B: The principal applicant lands first alone. The dependants may then follow the
principal applicant at a later date provided their COPR’s remain valid.

CUSTOMS: Information on bringing personal effects into Canada is available at
http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/menu-eng.html

MEDICAL INSURANCE: You should apply for government sponsored health insurance as soon as
you arrive in Canada. Plans vary from province to province. Further information can be obtained from the Ministry of Health in the province of destination. If you plan to settle in Ontario, refer to http://www.health.gov.on.ca/ for more information.

FOREIGN CREDENTIALS RECOGNITION OFFICE (FCRO): In partnership with Service Canada,
the Foreign Credentials Recognition Office (FCRO) helps internationally trained individuals get their credentials recognized more quickly. The FCRO provides information and referrals to clients via a dedicated phone service in Canada. In-person service is also available at selected Service Canada Centres. For more information, contact Service Canada at 1 800 O-Canada (1 800 622-6232) or
http://www.credentials.gc.ca/index.asp

RESIDENCY OBLIGATIONS: A permanent resident has the right to enter and remain in Canada
subject to the provisions of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. Permanent residents must meet certain residency obligations to maintain their status in Canada. Details are available at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/5529E.PDF

CANADIAN CITIZENSHIP: As a general rule, permanent residents may apply for citizenship after accumulating three years of residence in Canada during a four year period. To acquire Canadian citizenship, applicants must, among other things, demonstrate an ability in either English or French. Interested persons should contact the citizenship office in their area for complete details. Information is also available at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index.asp

Guys one doubt,
If any one can help that will be great.

After COPR, what is the expiry date for landing ?
I heard that its usually 1 year from date of medical. Is it date of medical passed by CIC or date of medical given ?
