Hi All,
I'm in a situation for which I can't seem to find a solution or answer anywhere.
I became a permanent resident inside Canada on Sept 3 2020 and received the access to the permanent residence portal in March 2021. My in Canada declaration and address were accepted immediately but my photo was rejected nearly 3 times. I most recently uploaded a new photo 2 weeks ago but still says photo in review. Now the issue is I have to travel urgently start of November and I'm pretty sure I won't have my PR card by then. I wanted to know if I can apply for a PTRD if I'm outside Canada with an expired COPR as it was only valid for 1 year and expired 3rd September 2021? I have already landed in Canada and IRCC has confirmed my address too. I have a Healthcard and SIN number since last year and I'm currently employed. I'm just curious if they could reject my PTRD application because of an expired COPR? I can't afford to be stuck as my employment could be at risk then
