copr ( correction in landing paper)

I got Canada PR Jan'14 under federal skill worker program.i got visa and landing papers. But when I received landing paper I found a small mistake in copr there is mistake in height mentioned of my daughter. It was mentioned 153 cm instead of 83 cm.then I mail to delhi high commotion. They reply that if there is any mistake in copr then I can not enter in Canada.then I again submit passport and copr to delhi high commotion.


I want to know how much time it will take for correction. ??

they should not taker long.....should send it back within a week or two...but these are only educated guesses.

You really didn't have to return the COPR. The height would have been corrected when she "landed"

do not warry they will update data at time of entry by visa officer same thing happen with me.and i landed without any problam.

Dear all last week I call to a consultant I discussed my issue. Of copr correction. He asked me that I do not need to submit my passport along with copr.only I have submit my copr..o am afraid that how much time they will take for correction. Sending of passport with copr is ok or there is any problem .Please discuss if any body know of copr correction processing

Why don't u send an email to the visa office?Nothing will happen against you if u send an email .I landed at Ottawa international airport and officers were really cool .Like many others said ,you should have entered Canada and officers at the airport would have taken care of that small issue.However, You should send couple of emails and mention that you want to move to Canada soon so you need your passport and COPR back as soon as possible.Mention your date of traveling .I am sure you will get some reply from them and If u do not get any reply then send another email as soon as possible.I have sent emails to visa office when I needed and they always replied with satisfactory answers after few days.Though my application was processed in Buffalo in USA not in India.


Nobody can tell you how much time they will take to return papers.

Emailing them can get you some answer from the right person with the right answer.

Dear i call to my consultant who is handling my case .i ask him That put up the mail to Canadian high commission .But they ask they will mail after one month pass.According to my consultant they send my COPR and passport to Canadian high commission for correction on 12 feb 2014..so they will put mail near about 12th march .According to them if we are sending frequent mail some time they get irritate.But one of my friend i got information that it will corrected with in 25 working day .


note - i also heard in some cases high commission did not respond they take long time for correction .some time people take appointment before there medical expire .

if some one is facing same correction related problem .then please share experience.

I got my Visa with COPR on 12th Feb 2014 but CHC did some blunder in my wife passport.
New passport was issued for change in surname of my wife from AA to BB. I did send old as well as new passport to CHC but they still stamped my wife new passport with old AA surname while her passport had BB surname leading to mismatch in landing paper.
My consultant sent back all the documents to CHC on 19th Feb 2014 and waiting till then for our Passport.
