A strange thing happened with me. I have not received the 2nd AOR yet nor my ecase status has been changed. But the CHC Islamabad has telephoned at my workplace and confirmed only , ..
''Is this the xxxxxx institution, we are speaking from Canadian High Commission Islamabad. (after getting confirmation) the caller said, "" ok We will contact you later.)

What does it mean?

What does it mean?

1. Obviously that call was part of your b/ground checks.
2. For the 2nd AOR u may send them an email query.

But i have sent my complete application on 15th July, and inside few days, they contacted my employer to confirm the institution, even though they have not sent me an AOR!

They were being proactive, against a perceived (by your VO) non-functional org, which u have claimed having worked for.

What do you assess about their mindset now?

Sorry if i am repeating the question. But i have not came accross any thread about the cases where principal applicant had made exit from canada without PR card and faced any problem.

If someone leave canada without PR card and subsequently he was informed that there is some problem is issuing the cards, then how this problem can be solved. As per my understanding visa is issued which can be used for single entry into canada.

can you please through some light on the above.

Hi Eemmoo,

I'd always advise everyone to stay at least 2 months here, post landing, to obtain the PRC & then leave. Anything can happen with it's processing... Any & many issues could crop-up, & be sure that this card is the most valuable document that we'd need towards our progress in this fab country.

I'm not sure how to address that situation, 'coz any complicacies in our PRC processing invariably requires our presence@their office. One way could be to obtain a PRTD (Temp. Travel Document) from your local CHC (costs $50) & return here to solve the issue.

Dear All,
I am new to CanadaVisa forum.

I have couriered my Application on 27-05-2010 which was recieved by CIC on 01-06-2010. cic.gc.ca is currently showing "For applications sent before June 26, 2010, the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, is currently working on applications received up to June 25, 2010".

Its mean that my application has been worked out but I have not received any reply (AOR) yet.

Can any body tell me that should I receive the AOR during the period CIC was working on my application OR I can recieve it know/later?
