I worked for 2 years in that research center.

You can claim points only if the hours worked equal at least one year of full time experience (at least 30 HR per week). The plain fact that you worked two years is not sufficient. At this point it is about the hours worked. You need to calculate your hours.

In total I worked for more than 2200 hours in these 2 years period.

Sorry for jumping in someone's post, but I really need help regarding part-time work experience.

My situation as follows:

- 9/2013-2/2015: Full-time MBA student in South Korea.
However, as my classes only hold during weekends, I was able to work at 2 companies (not co-op, 1 company at one time) as part-timers during this period. The total time was about 5 months, 20hrs/ week on average.

- 4/2016-now: full-time work for 2 years 8 months.

I am wondering if these part-time jobs can be added to my work experience.
As far as I know, CIC says that "You can count part-time work toward the work experience requirement, as long as you were not a full-time student at the time."

But there are people who could claim for their part-time experience while being full-time students not in Canada.

I was hoping that these part-time jobs can help me add some weeks to my 2yrs8 months to make a total of 3 years experience.

Thanks in advance!

Was your experience while u were a student in same NOC as the one u got after studies

Yes. All the part-time and full-time jobs are under the same NOC.

The part-time ones were relatively short (3 months and 2 months respectively, and not continuous: 10-12/2013, 5-7/2014) and happened before I started the first full-time job in 4/2016.
The full-time jobs satisfies the condition of having at least 1 continuous year.

So could the part-time jobs be counted?
