I was verifying the job duties described in my work experience letter and got confused by the main duties listed under https://noc.esdc.gc.ca/Structure/NocProfile?objectid=4ehRLrZpNwZSAITL5ZxH08k09CUoCIEO6hB9Uw+Ptv8=.
Some seem almost identical while others apply specifically to game developers I believe. Now I am not so sure my work experience letter is a good enough match for these duties.
Has anyone succeeded with applying under Noc 21232(got PPR or eligibility passed)? What are your job duties like? Really appreciate any input.

If your job duties match 70% of a NOC code, then choose it as your primary NOC code.

I understand that. But this Noc code itself doesn't quite make sense. So wondering if there is any suggestion in this specific case.

No, that wouldn't be wise. I think @babbelbubble should list out stated responsibilities as well. We can do an overlap of responsibilities with a NOC code. Using a job title alone is very risky.
I already suggested the original poster about the 70% job duties matching rule.

Please read the complete thread before jumping in.

I know and I read that 70% suggestion, but you went on to suggest a NOC code for some reason. That's wrong! You'll get someone rejected.

OP said that 70% suggestion unhelpful, and I agree that we aren't obligated to help him. But, giving wrong advice knowing the NOC risk isn't very responsible. For some reason you gave "use XXX NOC code". Instead, we should reiterate - "match 70% responsibilities, and I don't know what your responsibilities are, but share your responsibilities here and probably someone will help-out with the right NOC code".

This isn't to say you got bad intentions towards someone, but we should refrain from getting too prescriptive unless the situation is embryonic or either we know with confidence.

I will not get someone rejected. So please do not jump in again on the conversations. You can post or reply directly to the original poster.

Saying "use XXX NOC code" without ever understanding someone's responsibilities would get them rejected. This is a free forum, I'll jump in whenever I want.

Then do whatever you want. I don't know why people come into serious discussions to just troll.

You say you want to help others, yet you don't want to understand NOC rejections and the seriousness that it has. My only objection to you is that, don't say "use XXX NOC code" if you don't know the responsibilities.

There's a reason why RCICs call out non RCICs providing immigration advise. Saying you shouldn't provide prescriptive suggestions for broad problems that someone can blindly trust isn't trolling - you can learn that by observing any senior member here. Here's a thread on how serious NOC code issues are: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/noc-rejection-anyone.479113/
