Having it waived means they can be admitted but lack of English proficiency is a reason VO can reject you regardless of whether or not it was waived. It wont if the university has waived the requirements

CIC has confirmed multiple times that there is no IELTS requirement in Non-sds although most institutions have a language but if the institution waives it IRCC will not reject you because of IELTSHaving it waived means they can be admitted but lack of English proficiency is a reason VO can reject you regardless of whether or not it was waived.

My IELTS Score is 6.5 Bands, but 5.5 in reading module.
If I m applying for PG courses after completing my graduation in India. Should I go For SDS or Non- SDS ?
Guys, I have an unconditional offer from a renowned university in Canada for Masters program in Computer Science. My bachelors degree has been in Computer Science only, and I have been working in Computer Science field for the past 21/2 years. I also have a separate letter that states that I have fulfilled the language requirement of the university as my undergraduate degree was instructed in English.
At this point, I am unable to take IELTS due to lockdowns and closure of IELTS test centers. Would it be advisable to proceed with study permit application without IELTS? I am intending to apply for Winter 2021.
Anyone?
You want to apply for Winter 2021 ? , there is no need to rush, wait for IELTS centres to open and then take the test.
I am resident of Mumbai, where lockdowns remain in place. My test got rescheduled twice and the new date is by the end of October.
