Hello,
I finished my masters in Electrical Engineering and I recently received my ITA on Mar.1. A conversation with an acquaintance has confused me about my scenario.
I was a design engineer in India after having completed an Msc in Physics. I chose the NOC corresponding to Electrical Engineer as the roles and duties very much match my past job profile and my designation was that of an engineer on the basis of which I claimed points. However, when I read the 'main duties, employment requirements' section, it says a 'bachelors degree in electrical or electronics engineering or in an appropriate related engineering discipline required. Would that question the authenticity of my designation as an engineer in the job?
I know the situation is rare, but did someone encounter a situation like this and can throw some light?
Thanks !!
