Confusing PCC message

I applied for PCC and got the certificate a couple of days ago. Yesterday I got this message which I am unable to understand: Previous PVR for your Current Address is rejected and is sent for resubmission from police.
Any idea what this is? Trying to call Passport Office but no one is answering the phone!

PVR is police verification report. It's weird that u get this msg after having collected ur PCC . Normally passport office would not issue a PCC without PVR being approved. Your best bet is to visit your local police station and meet the officer who did your PVR. Show him both the documents and he maybe able to clarify. All the best.

If you have the PCC, it will be fine for Canada purposes. Don't worry about the message.
