I am into HiTech industry, working for an Indian Company. I have been coming to Canada on work permit. This is my 5th trip, in last 7 years. Every time for around 6 to 9 months. I get transferred to my respective company's US or Canada office(i.e., if i am in "ABC tech" in India, i will be an employee of ABC America and this year ABC Canada). But i always worked in Canadian cities (in Ontario), in client's office. Like this i have total 2.5 yrs full time working experience in Canada. I have filed taxes all years.

Do i qualify under Canadian Experienced Class? If yes, my company will not give me a letter that i have permanent employment in Canada to apply for immigration . How do i go ahead? Can i apply under Federal Skill Worker? Under this category also, recently there are changes in the occupations allowed. In this list, i dont see HiTech occupations . Please let me know, how do i go about applying for immigration?

as a foreign worker, you have to have worked 2 years in the last 3 years to apply under CEC, or 1 year in the last 2 years as a Canadian college graduate.

sorry, it does not sound like you are eligible at this time.... best option for you is to try to get a temporary job offer lasting at least 2 years, after which you would qualify for CEC...
