Confused with Proof of Funds

Hi,
I have received ITA on Aug 21st draw,
I'd like to know if I can open an FD now and show it as proof of funds? i plan to upload the ITA docs by sep 20th.
If yes, do I need to give an LOE on how I got the amount?
If not, what are the other option.

You can open FD but you have to also provide the statement of ur saving account or/and prove that the funds are ur own and not borrowed.
Best, provide 6 months of ur saving statement along with ur FD certificate

Unfortunately, I have the amount in the loan account which cannot to be used as it will prove that we have a loan.

Now, can I borrow the amount from my dad and get a gift deed done?
Experienced candidates who have already received PR please let us know how did you show the POF.

Now that you have received your PPR , can you please post an update here on how you managed to show the POF?
