Hi Folks,

Need some help on this one.

I have filed an EOI(expression of interest) for my PR recently and also have am admit at one of the university for winter intake(january). My Questions are as follows
1) Will i have any problem in getting a study permit visa while i have just filed an EOI.
2) In case i do get the study permit visa and during my course of study i find out that i was not able to get a PR then will i be able to re-aapply while pursuing my studies in canada?

Eagerly waiting for your responses .

Kindly help me on this one. :)

Did you get ITA and did you send out your PR application or did you just make an EE profile.
If all you did is just profile itself, that is just something like EOI from your side, but it is nothing binding. For the purposes of visa paperwork you did not apply for PR.

HI Vensak,

Thank you so much for your response. :)

As of now i have just made an EOI ; based of your response i am assuming that i havent yet filed for an PR and getting a study visa would not be problem?

Secondly after i file for an EOI and i get an NOI from ONIP, and then i get an admit in one of universities then does that mean that i have initiated the process for PR and granting a student visa at that point of time will be a problem or will i be rejected? (i understand that once i get an NOI i might get picked up in the next draw and recive an ITA but i dont want to take any chances and be clear as much as possible. Please correct me if i am wrong :)

Looking forward for your response.

Thanks

EOI or NOI is not enough to be seen as an application itself. However if you got NOI from Ontario and you did apply for the program, then you would officially confirm that you want to immigrate for good. But then again, then it will be more favourable for you to postpone your studies intentions and get PR and then to go study for cheaper money.
