Hi everyone, everyone here keeps referring to ECAS, and I am very confused, because I see two things on the CIC website: 1) create an account / log in to the account, which you would do with GC Key, and 2) check application status, which you do not have a login for, but you just gotta enter key information like PR card number, date of birth, etc.
When I log in to the GC Key one (I had an account from before), it does not list any applications on my account. Did I have to do the online presence calculator using this account somehow?? Or do anything online so that my application or physical presence calculation would show up there? This page also has the option of "link an application".
But also, when I fill out the check application status page, it gives me a message that "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons" -- one of these reasons is that this works only for people with applications in process. Since I have not received AOR, and therefore my file has not been forwarded and put as "in process" yet, is that why I am seeing this message ?
OR: did I do something wrong?
