Confused about Proof of financial support

Hi all,

I am confused about providing the details of Financial Support and filling up the "Details of Intended Study (Continued)" section of the IMM1294E.

I got into a 2 year Masters programme. Should I provide details of Financial Support for the total course duration. And for the IMM1294E, should I also mention the details for 2 years or just one year is required.

Can I submit details of Fixed Deposit under my parents name for Financial Support documentation.

As far as I know, you have to show you have the money to pay:

- The entire tuition cost of your program, all the fees included.
- Your living expenses for your first year.
C$10000 main applicant + C$4000 spouse + C$3000 for each child.

Yes. The CIC expects student to have at least 1 year's tuition fee plus $10000 for living expenses. If you have more, you have a stronger case. This may help:

Buddy... U Can show proof that u have paid ur 1st installment and juzt get a CA Report from an Chartered Accountant.In That Mention all those fundings that u can provide.... Include ur fixed deposits,gold,movable,immovable properties,savings,etc in that report.And the main thing is that just include ur approximate value in CAD in that report itself.... If u r showing Bank Balance,Include the Photocopy of their Passbook and the year statements also. Notarize Every Page of ur supporting documents that it'll help u...
