I am in a great dilemma and was wondering if someone would provide some insight or share similar experiences.
So, I applied for an 'open' work permit based on my PNP nomination and recieved the document couple of days back.
The case type for the wp is 27.
There are several conditions listed on the document, some of which are a cause of concern for me :
- not authorized to work in any occupation other than stated
- not authorized to work with any employer other than stated
This isnt exactly an 'open' work permit since it binds you to one employer.
Can someone please tell if this is expected and if everyone who applies for such work permit is bound to work with the same employer(until the PR comes through)?
If not, is there any way I can change these conditions by re-applying?
Please advise.Any input would be great!
