Concern on spousal open work permit

Is it necessary to have PDOS when you applied for spousal open work permit?

What's a PDOS? Google gave me some sort of a seminar? Only requirements for the OWP are applying for a spousal PR as well, correctly filling out the form, and paying the correct fee ($255). If those conditions are met, the person will get their work permit.

Oh, yes, that little thing! OP, you definitely have to have legal status when you apply for the work permit, as @monkeys89 said.

I suspect the OP is asking about a SOWP rather than an OWP attached to an inland application. If so, the question needs to be posted to the Foreign Workers section of the forum.

I agree. It doesn't look like a OWP for inland sponsorship.
