Concern about work experience calculation

Hi all,
I have 2 year of full time exeperience in canada for the same company. The thing is that during my work experience i went to my home country for 3 months.My question is while filling work experience section, do i have to split my job into two time frame to show my visit to home country( cus i wasnt technically working) or i just show it 2 years continously?

Then you actually don't have 2 full years of experience? Or a total of 2 years around a 3 months gap?
