Hello All,

I got back to forum after a long time and watched CIC web site and found that Computer and System Managers are no more in list, could any one confirm that this news is true that they change rules and no more taking IT professionals at them moment? Because i applied last time but withdraw my application.

IT people may be oversturated there , thats why they exclude this category.

Canada started to outsource their IT work to other countries like Philippines, India, etc.

I think that is the reason why there removed It professionals from their list.

Hi jawadahmad77,

The Canadian Immigration have taken out this occupation from the list on 26 June 2010.

Oh Man,,,,,,,

I was considered eligible last year and crossed first phase and was asked to sent my documents in 120 days, But i had some family problems and i had to hold it for a year or so. I withdraw and now i was thinking to apply again but i was shocked to see its no more in list..........

Friends, is there any chance they put again next year because now they are doing it on limit/quota and required professions.

I was so stupid to withdraw.......... :(

This is sad,

I saw few people who were taking IELTS with me this July. They were in the old 38 category list.
And unfortunately they were not aware that they just missed the bus.

Dear jawadahmad77,
Have a close look on the duties & resposibilities of some of the 29 categories in the list.
You may then try to get a Job Offer and AEO.
Seniors can give u more suggestions. Qubec PNP is another possibility

There must be a way,,,,Good Luck!!

You can try Quebec but you must learn French (at least basic) to score points.

You may apply for the Managerial or supervisor role but you must provide a PMP certification

Maybe they could get us instead ;)

Thank you all for guidance,

What i red in forums and their websites that i can only come under PNP if i have any experience working inside that Province or i must should have friend or family or someone there who know me. Is that so?

Dear all,

Please help on it.

Regards,

Jawad Ahmad

Dear Jawad,

The question is a broad one!
No you dont need to have a relative, or experience of work in a province. But you do need a nomination.

Every province has a different rules structure which is different from regular FSW regulations.

Please visit the other forum for better understanding & also the cic website

Good Luck!!

Dear Canada121,

I appreciate your help, by needing a nomination you mean any job offer or something? Because i really couldnt find in any province they get you eligible without family/friend/job offer or study inside Province.

Jawad Ahmad

Dear Jawad,

You will have to read the instructions for the same. The best place is this website itself i.e. canadavisa.com

You will find all the info.

Then u can research the other forum dedicated to PNP applicants, and know better
