Hello,
We are a couple (common-law relationship) that is planning to apply for PR under the CEC program.
We have both gained more than one year of work experience in occupations that are at the NOC Level B and also meet all the other requirements.
Our concerns are:
- Can we apply as a two independent applicants? I mean filling out two full applications, one for me and one for my partner.
Does it have any disadvantage compared to one application and two family members in it?
- Thinking about one application for both of us.
Could the person that is not the main applicant get a BOWP?
At the end of the procedure, would we have both of us PR status?
In both scenarios we will provide with all the information about our common-law relationship, but in the first option the number of family member will be 1 and in the second option it will be 2. What do you recommend me?
Please I need all your insight.
Thanks,
