I have one stupid question.
My bf and i have been living together since last year october 1st.
I am about to change my martial status on CRA, and there's question "Marital status effective date"

In my case, it will be this year october 1st, isn't it?

Yes - that's right. Because October this year you'll have lived together for a full year and can therefore claim CL status.
