I am an international student Master's student in Ontario! I was planning on applying for PR through the OINP master and phd graduate stream, but since they suspended it, my partner and I are thinking that sponsorship may be the best way.
I am finishing my degree soon and will be eligible for my PGWP at the end of September. We can apply through common-law now though because we have been living together for longer than a year. I am wondering if it is better though to wait until I get my PGWP so that I don't have to notify them of my change of status or something like that.
If anyone could shed some light on if it is a good idea to wait, or if it is all the same and I should just get the application in process now.
