Hello!

Can someone give me some information, please. My friend is not listening to my worries for her.

IEC visa expired Sept 11th 2016. Applied for BWOP that week with no employer or skill and only paid one part of the payment required. I know it's going to be denied.
PR application has not been submitted yet  even after my multiple talks of concern with her.

Does she get 90 days after the BOWP is "approved or denied" or does she only have the processing time to see the outcome. If her PR is only being submitted say next week and it's taking 6 months at least what are her options.

Is she at risk of being told to leave or can she go on a visitor visa for that time being.

TIA

She doesn't qualify for a BOWP - so the application is going to be rejected (not refused). This is something new CIC has started doing (likely because they were fed up of people applying for BOWPs when they don't qualify). Because she applied for a BOWP without qualifying and the application is going to be rejected, this means no implied status (i.e. all work from the expiry of the IEC forward is illegal) and also means that she will be out of status in Canada as soon as her IEC expires.

So no, she won't have 90 days from the time the BOWP is refused. The 90 day count down started on September 11th.
