Hi all,

I need your insight. I had a full-time job for 11 months (September 2019 to July 2020) with my old employer. Now, my old employer connected to me and hired me, but this time on a part-time basis. Now, my question is since I already have 11 months of full-time work experience, can I combine it with my part-time work experience to get the one-year work experience to qualify for CEC? I started working back at my old employer last July, and now I have recorded the following part-time hours I did in the company.

Week 1 - 40 hrs
Week 2 - 40 hrs
Week 3 - 18 hrs
Week 4 -37.5 hrs
Week 5 - 33.5 hrs

If I sum up the total part-time work, I would get 138 hrs (added all but only 30 hrs/week) which is equivalent to 1-month of full-time work experience. Now, can I combine this with my 11-months full-time work experience? I'm just confused as to whether I qualify for CEC or not. I just need your insight guys.

Also, when I was working as a full-time employee, I took a vacation and sick pay leave, and there were also some statutory holidays. Is this counted as part of full-time work experience right?

Hi @huxing0522 thank you so much for your response. Does this mean I qualify now for CEC? With my 11-months FT + 1 month PT?
