College VS University

Hi!
Im planing to return to Canada to study IT. In the city that I want to study the main institutions are an University and a College. I want to do short short course, the College course offers a two year course and the University gives a two year diploma with a chance of make it to a degree if I do two more years. Witch one is the best course to take in terms of employment after the course? The college course seams more related with current IT issues (what is going on in the IT industry right now) but usually university degrees are usually better recognized. Can you give feedback?

I finish highshool in the U.S., did Business Administration in Canada (incomplete), did B.Psych in South Africa and some courses in Human Resources... I have done some Linux courses and now I'm doing Linux network, I do my own windows software, and soon I will be doing android applications and software for mach... I have a registered IT business... and I have work experience in other fields..

Normally uni provides any student license. In colleges you have to buy it by your own. You can easily buy cheap oem soft online. That is not a problem at all.
