My wife & I have applied for her student visa/open work permit online (our application is still in process as we need Police Clearances from 4 countries which we are still waiting for) for this fall semester @ Sheridan. The course she's been admitted to is a graduate Certificate program. Just last week, she received another offer from OCAD University for a Masters program. The Sheridan course is basically an 8 month program whereas the OCAD one is 1.5 years (4 semester) masters degree.
As we've already applied for our visas with the Sheridan offer, I was wondering how should we go about updating CIC with the new offer letter from OCAD. Since my wife is really interested in the OCAD's masters program and the duration is 1.5 years, it would also help elongate the duration of my work permit (should we get the approval).
Any suggestions and help regarding the right course of action would be really appreciated.
