Good day. I just want to ask if I can work once my work permit was submitted? I am international student and my program is HCA without co-op.

My student permit is still valid till 2024 and work permit was submitted last April 5, 2022. Thank you

if you are a still a full-time student, you can work up to 20 hours. Are you still a student? Your study permit expires 90 days after graduation. Are you applying for a PGWP or have a LMIA.

I believe you can since you have a LMIA.

My work permit is on process now. I asked that with my consultant and she told me not to change to visitor because she cant submit my work permit within Canada

No you can’t work if applying for a closed WP and not PGWP.

Yes you can still study full-time if it has been less than 150 days since you graduated but once your WP is approved you can’t.

Your study permit is only valid for 90 days after graduation. You should change your status to visitor while you wait to hear about the results of your WP.
