Hello,

I would really appreciate all feedback on this issue.

I was nominated for PR in Saskatchewan, the last contact was in December when i paid the RPRF.
My PGWP expired on February 20,2017. However, I mailed an application for extension in December 2016 for a closed work permit.
I realized about 2 months later that I needed to get the LMIA exempt code from my Employer. I got the code, called CIC and the code was added to my file before an officer began processing my file. The person I spoke with said i will be on implied status until a decision was made.
I got a rejection letter dated March 29, 2017 a couple days ago, and immediately left work.
The reason for the rejection was an "incorrect LMIA exempt code". My boss followed proper steps and gave me the code that was generated, so we don't know how this could have happened.
My employer got me another code that i used to apply for restoration of status/work permit extension on April 4,2017.
How can I be certain this second code will not be rejected?
I am just wondering if there's anything i can do. I may loose my job.
Can I appeal the decision to reject my application?

Thanks for your help.

If there was an error in the application - there's nothing to appeal. You need to reapply.
